Vimeo needs brand new management

I mean really, the last 10 reviews on here already spell out my experience with Vimeo. As an enterprise client (that's their highest tier), their support is non-existent (literally can't even open my tickets because their system is broken for some reason). I complained to their staff that I cannot access my tickets nor reply to tickets, I can only open new ones and... 15 tickets asking them for a solution or an alternative and I honestly think my time would have been less wasted if I spent it screaming at the wall. They randomly close tickets without explanation, their staff are like bots (probably heavily underpaid and overworked) because they either respond with a non-answer if you're lucky, or they close the ticket without explanation. This is clearly a top of the food chain management issue. If this is how they treat their top paying clients, I do not want to find out how much worse they can be. Vimeo if you ever read this (which would probably mean you're finally under new management and looking to fix the previous management's mistakes), you need to up your support flexibility by 500%; because if you're not flexible with your clients, then you can't call that support. Provide human agents that can call you to assist when your own support system is malfunctioning!!!

Total rip-off

I'm a senior citizen, I wanted to sign up for the monthly plan. They charged for a year, so $84 for me to record one video. There's no contact information, absolutely no one to help you.

When Site Says You Own Something You Expect It

I will never purchase a thing again from them. I bought "The Best Kept Secret" by son of Oliver Stone and went to watch it again and its nowhere to be found. Its only a small charge 4.99 but it tells me to watch out for this company.

Horrible staff with extreme double…

Horrible staff with extreme double standards. They always use cut and paste responses without bothering to review your appeal. There are much better platforms out there and much better value.

Poor Service/Support

They have a good product, but it's overshadowed by their very very bad customer support. I tried to speak with them to walk me through addressing an issue I was having with Vimeo, bit all they wanted to do is send emails back and forth. Never was able to speak with their technical support. Very bad experience. I ended up having to call someone from within our company to come and assist. Cost money and time.

I can’t get onto anyone to get a refund.

BAD PLATFORM - USE MEDIAZILLA INSTEAD FOR PROFESSIONAL CONTENT

I tried using vimeo for my small business needs and they did not deliver. I am a 'pro' subscriber and every video, my customers have horrendous ads and distractions! On top of that, my videos are not secure! Anybody with the link can view them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Customer support is no help either. I had a problem with one of my videos not encoding properly on their end and it set my business back several days. I did some research and found this company called MediaZilla, it can be a bit pricey but for fixing all of vimeos problems, its worth it! They deliver a professional experience like no other, one that every business needs. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Unbeatable calibre of quality, but not enough

Vimeo still holds up to being the best site out there for hosting videos and embedding them on a third party website. You're still able to upload and stream videos at a high quality with better encoding than its main rival. Vimeo had the opportunity of becoming the largest video streaming site a few years ago, however that opportunity has long passed. Vimeo is great for commercial use, but that's about it. Going down the commercial and monetisation route, whilst it may have been a good business choice, pushed the rest of market away to Youtube. If you go to the front page even now, all it shows is pricing, which might appeal to video streamers, but not the audience that would watch them. The tools provided to edit videos could do with a revamp. It's a bit of a mixed bag, because from a businesses prospective or streamers prospective, its a wonderful platform, but from most other peoples prospective, it's just, average.

Beautiful video quality - Platform under performs

The quality of the videos I upload to Vimeo are without a doubt of higher quality than when I share the same videos to YouTube or Facebook.

I am a paid client at Vimeo, but honestly I'm not likely to continue my subscription. One feature, share to social, has consistently not worked over the past year and it's one of the most essential features I count on.

Support is always "sticking to the script" and expecting me to jump through flaming hoops that never resolve the issue - I'm quite tired of this company wasting my time.

It would be ideal if their advertised functions worked - I would gladly pay their fee to continue being a happy client, but it's not that way and I have to cut ties if they can't pull this together.

I suscribed for a plus plan and I have…

I suscribed for a plus plan and I have been slowly uploading 40 videos , two every week , lately I wanted just to trimm the beginning seconds of each video but it looks that the trimm of five seconds count like I am uploading the full video as new, so all the videos I already uploaded are in suspension not trimmed not available in the old version and the only way to recover them is to pay a and unlimited subscription that cost 40 euros a month for one year. Good move! But here in Spain we think that lies have short legs , sorry for this company I really thought things were different around here , but just another hungry ghost company

I heard that Vimeo is very anti-Semitic, they wanted to make a Jewish co-host lose his job at a pro-peace channel. It's just like another holocaust in my opinion... or even worse, the immigration crisis of Latin Americans going to the US.
